Who We Are

Will Fischer is the principal of Port Side Strategies. Before founding Port Side, Will was the Director of Government Relations for VoteVets. In this role, he led legislative efforts on behalf of the 600,000 members of the organization and developed and implemented strategies for major legislative campaigns. Prior to his time at VoteVets, Will spent nearly a decade working at the national AFL-CIO and on a variety of political, legislative, and organizing campaigns across the country. A fixture on Capitol Hill and in the media, Will’s commentary has been featured on MSNBC, CNN, Fox News, C-SPAN, and in hundreds of magazines and newspapers throughout the country. He lives in Washington, D.C.
